Design Hub
A collection of ways I design knowledge to be seen, learned, used, and collectively revised. From data visualization and learning experiences to community infrastructure and interactive systems, each work is read closely through its design decisions.
Knowledge Graph: A Relational Portrait of a Digital Self
An interactive network that transforms a contact list into a living relational portrait. Centrality, adjacency, and motion reveal how professional, scholarly, editorial, and creative platforms cluster around a single digital identity.
DataWiz: A D3 Studio for Visual Thinking
A private visualization studio spanning raw data, visual mapping, refinement, export, and editable D3 code. DataWiz does more than generate charts: it makes the analytical logic behind chart choice visible, teachable, and reusable.
The Green Skills Teacher Handbook: A Community Version
A living release system rather than a finished publication: eight modules authored by eight teachers branch across classrooms and communities, gather feedback, and build the evidence base for future editions.
Education Monitoring Report 2025
A visual atlas that refuses to reduce Türkiye's educational landscape to a single average. Time, geography, and inequality become visible layer by layer within one disciplined editorial system.
Education Finance: Preparing for the World of the Future
A work that turns the abstractions of public finance into tactile visual structures. Source, composition, and scale unfold through an analytical rhythm jointly authored by text and image.
Petal by Petal
Five sunflowers unfold the temporal and thematic anatomy of 663 letters Van Gogh wrote to Theo. Biographical data becomes a living botanical form rather than a conventional chart.
Education Monitoring Report 2024
A rich visual repertoire spanning calendars, pictograms, time series, and conceptual diagrams. The report does more than measure an education system; it turns it into memorable scenes and structures.
PISA 2022: A View of Education While Preparing for the Future
A comprehensive series that turns PISA's dense statistical world into a lucid visual narrative around inequality, wellbeing, and future skills. Complexity is not diminished; it is carefully choreographed.
Data-led Creativity: A Visualization & Storytelling Workshop
This six-hour introductory workshop pairs data literacy with creative confidence and narrative strategy with modular information design. First designed for Üretimhane and later adapted for ERG and TÜSEV teams, it asks participants to consider who the data should move, what it should change, and how it should act before choosing a chart.
Education in Emergencies Sharing Group
A responsive convening infrastructure designed to read a changing education landscape after the February 6 earthquakes. Field intelligence, policy developments, and community needs become shared orientation through a deliberate recurring rhythm.
Education Data Literacy Summer School: From Indicators to Infrastructure
Across three days and 20 hours, a summer school reframed data from a technical skill into a mode of public reasoning. Twenty-three participants and nine experts challenged the limits of existing indicators and designed new measures. The temporary gathering then became a bilingual, reusable monitoring infrastructure built around 20 education indicators.
